Ladies’ Ministry Council is an organization that plans and organizes events for the church. The group started as W. O. M. A. N. – Women on Mission Answering Needs. The group saw a need within the church for activities for the ladies and reorganized to meet the need for planning and providing fellowship opportunities. The Council is made up of those who enjoy planning and organizing events. Ladies’ Ministry Council holds a planning meeting once each quarter and then organizational meetings as necessary to carry out the events scheduled.
The Council plans a Ladies’ Night Out once each quarter at area restaurants or at the church with fellowship and speakers/presenters on relevant topics. Two or three times each year there are also afternoon fellowships. A church wide winter banquet with great entertainment is also organized by the Council. We provide information about organized retreats and workshops available to the ladies of the church.
Ladies’ Ministry Council oversees the Ladies’ Bible Studies that are conducted on weeknights at the church. This is an outreach/in reach opportunity for the ladies of the church. There are several short Bible Studies each year.
Ladies’ Ministry Council welcomes any ladies who are willing to “think outside the box” and then follow through to make those events happen.
